How old do I need to be to rent a car? Most car rental companies on island require renters to be at least 25 years old, due to insurance regulations.
What documents do I need to rent a car? You will typically need a valid driver's license, a credit/ debit card in your name (if you choose this method of payment).
Can I add an additional driver to my rental agreement? Yes, you can usually add an additional driver to your rental agreement for an extra fee. The additional driver will need to meet the same age and licensing requirements as the primary driver.
Do I still need a local permit if I have an international driver’s license/ permit? A local permit will not be required. However, you will need to provide a copy of your International Drivers License.
What happens if I return the car late? We provide a grace period for late returns, after which you may be charged an additional fee. It's important to check the rental agreement for specific details on late return policies.
What insurance options are available for rental cars? Rental car insurance options typically include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), and Liability Insurance
Can I rent a car for a one-day trip? No. A minimum of 2 days is required.
Is there a fee for pick up and drop off at the airport? Airport pick up and drop offs are completely fee.
What should I do if the car breaks down during my rental period? In the event of a breakdown, contact the car rental company's roadside assistance service for help. They will provide instructions on how to proceed and may arrange for a replacement vehicle if needed.
What is your cancellation policy? A minimum of 48 hours is required prior to reservation date.
Can I cancel if I don’t feel comfortable driving on the roads after receiving the vehicle? Yes. However, please note that only half of your rental costs will be refunded.
Is there an option to extend? As long as there is availability, a client can contact reservations to extend their booking.
I am 70 years old. Can I still rent a car? Yes. However, drivers over the age of 65 years are required to provide a letter from their doctor to indicate that there is nothing hindering their ability to drive.
Do you deliver island wide? For a fee, we will have your vehicle delivered to you anywhere on island.
Do I need to replace a punctured tire? Yes. Let the rental company know before moving forward with the purchase.
Can I upgrade my rental car during my rental period? Yes. As long as there is availability and you cover all costs incurred.
